Did You Know?

The Hoo-hoogam Ki Museum, located on East Osborn Road in Scottsdale, gives visitors a chance to view artifacts owned by the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Native American community. Exhibits on permanent display include Maricopa pottery, Pima basketry and traditional dress. The museum is open all year round, and admission is free.

You’re sure to have extra company in your magnificent new home, so consider the benefits of having what is known in central Arizona as a “casita,” or guest house. A casita can be a simple freestanding bedroom and bathroom, or a sophisticated arrangement that could accommodate a full-time tenant. Either will add to your property value.
